Honest answers
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. The game is free and there is no pay-to-win. Nothing you can buy makes your character stronger than someone who does not.
- Does my progress carry over?
- Yes. Your account and everything on it live on the server, not on the phone. Switch devices, switch platforms, reinstall, it is all still there.
- Does it really keep playing while the app is closed?
- Yes. Set a task and close the app. When you return the server settles what you earned while you were away and hands you the ledger.
- How often is it updated?
- Constantly. 37 releases have shipped since June, the most recent being v0.31.0, "One Rung at a Time". Every one is written up in the patch notes.
- Is my data safe?
- There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking anywhere in the game or on this site. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is stored and why.
